Not only mavlink data but any type of serial data.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll find the wiring diagram <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/ultimate-lrs-wiring-diagram\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h1>Now plug and play<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li>Plug into the transmitter, and connect an USB \/ FTDI cable:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-808\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351-1024x616.jpg\" alt=\"TX connection to the PC via FTDI\" width=\"352\" height=\"212\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351-1024x616.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351-510x307.jpg 510w, https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351-300x181.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 352px) 100vw, 352px\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><\/li>\n<li>For information, here are the TX pins used:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/DSC_7351.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-697\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/taranis-pinout_03.png\" alt=\"taranis-pinout_03\" width=\"282\" height=\"381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/taranis-pinout_03.png 552w, https:\/\/www.itluxembourg.lu\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/taranis-pinout_03-510x688.png 510w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 282px) 100vw, 282px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Power supply<\/h1>\n<h2>1W modules<\/h2>\n<p>The below diagrams show the 1W OrangeRX modules powered from the 5V of the BEC or APM power module.<\/p>\n<p>This will work, but for maximum safety power the 1W OrangeRX modules directly from the battery voltage (up to 36V).<\/p>\n<h2>100mW modules<\/h2>\n<p>The OrangeRX 100mW modules are powered with 5V on any servo port.<\/p>\n<p>Notice that the 100 mW module must not be powered with more than 5Vbecause :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They only have a linear regulator<\/li>\n<li>The servos are supposed to work at 5V<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The ULRS RX 100 mW can be powered from the APM servo input 1, which is connected to the 4th servo port on the ULRS.<\/p>\n<p>You can alternatively use any other 5V source such as a dedicated UBEC.<\/p>\n<h3>Don&#8217;t power the 100mW modules via the FTDI port<\/h3>\n<p>The only dangerous pin on the 100mW module is the VCC pin of the serial port. It&#8217;s recommended to cut it. This pin is directly connected to the VCC pin of the RFM22B, which is a 3.3V device, if by mistake 5V is applied on it the RF module will die immediately. Remember\u00a0that even the genuine 3.3V FTDI cables from FTDI provide 5V on this pin, that&#8217;s why it&#8217;s safer to cut it down.<\/p>\n<p>You could apply more voltage on the servo port, because it&#8217;s not connected directly (but via a regulator) to the RFM22B.
